Refund & Returns Policy

At Ghar ki Thali, we strive to deliver hygienic, home-style vegetarian meals to your doorstep across Dubai. Customer satisfaction is important to us, and we aim to be fair and transparent with our refund and return policy.

Please read the following carefully to understand how refunds, cancellations, and delivery issues are handled.


1. Meal Subscription Refunds

We offer meal plans on a pre-paid basis (daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly). Once a subscription is purchased:

  • Refunds are not applicable for partial usage or if a customer chooses to discontinue before the subscription end date.
  • If you experience an issue with our service or food quality, we encourage you to report it immediately. We will review your concern and, if deemed appropriate, may offer compensation in the form of:
    • A replacement meal
    • Subscription extension
    • Partial refund (only in exceptional cases)

2. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your meal plan under the following conditions:

  • 24-hour notice is required before the scheduled delivery.
  • For monthly/quarterly plans, cancellations will be reviewed individually, and refunds (if any) will be processed after deducting applicable service and delivery charges.
  • No cancellations are accepted for meals already prepared or dispatched.

3. Delivery Issues

If you did not receive your meal due to:

  • A delivery error on our end
  • An incorrect or missed delivery by our logistics partner

Please report it within 2 hours of your scheduled delivery time. We will either:

  • Re-deliver (where possible)
  • Adjust your subscription by one meal/day
  • Offer a refund if the issue cannot be resolved

4. Quality Concerns

If you receive a meal that is:

  • Spoiled
  • Incorrect
  • Unhygienic

Kindly provide a photo and description within 2 hours of receiving the meal. We will investigate the issue and take necessary action, which may include a replacement or compensation.


5. Refund Timeline

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days via the original payment method.
  • Refund confirmation and tracking will be sent via email.

6. Non-Refundable Items

Please note, we do not provide refunds for:

  • Meals not consumed or collected on time
  • Change in taste preference
  • Missed deliveries due to incorrect addresses or unreachable phone numbers
  • Delivery delays caused by weather, traffic, or other unforeseen situations

7. Subscription Freezing

Premium members are allowed to freeze their plan up to 15 days × 2 times per year. You must notify us at least 24 hours in advance to freeze your subscription.
